Nineteen committees took part in the 31st Consolidated Convention, held July 24-27. Seven of these committees are provided for by the Brotherhood’s Constitution; 12 “special committees” were appointed by the International President, who has authority to do so under the Constitution. Reports of the Constitution and Law Committee and the Resolutions Committee, which were lengthy and involved extended floor debates, are not summarized on their respective pages. Highlights of these two reports are provided throughout the web site. The Sergeant-At-Arms Committee did not present a report.
