Committee on Ritual and Brotherhood HistoryCommittee ReportThe committee recommended that no changes be made to the Brotherhood ritual. Two changes in the historical summary at the front of the Constitution were noted, both of which were included in the Law Committee report and approved by the assembly on Day 1. The Ritual and Brotherhood Committee asked all delegates to voluntarily support the Boilermaker Archives, a non-profit foundation created to preserve historical artifacts and documents. The committee identified three ways this can be done: 1) asking individual members to make personal donations (tax deductible in the U.S.), 2) having local lodges set up annual donations (as many lodges do for the United Way and other non-profits), and 3) purchasing additional copies of the Boilermaker history book, Grace Under Pressure, the proceeds of which go to the Archives.
