After lunch on Day 3, delegates heard from the Cement Committee before returning to the work of re-affirming the Constitution. IVP Jim Hickenbotham used the committee's time in front of the delegates to say that after much discussion during the Cement Conference on July 23rd, delegates from CLGAW Division lodges had agreed to take the difficult step of increasing Cement Division dues so that their financial shortfall would be eliminated. He thanked those delegates for their hard work and urged all delegates to support the Law Committee's report when it came up. When the matter came before the convention, it passed with no objection.
